Lopa Mehrotra

Lopa has dedicated her 18 year career in the US and Australia to social change and leadership. Lopa’s work is guided by a single thread: that education and entrepreneurship have the power to transform lives and communities. Lopa is currently Co-CEO of Grameen Australia, developing sustainable social businesses in Bangladesh, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Lopa has previously consulted to the social sector in Australia, working with clients such as St. George Foundation and Ten20 Foundation. Prior to that, Lopa served as interim CEO of Women 4 Women, a US based organization focused on improving the lives of women and girls through programs, advocacy, and grant making.

Lopa further fulfils her passion for transforming communities by serving on the Boards of non-profit organisations. She has served as President of the Board of Trustees at the Chance School, Secretary of the Board of Directors of Women 4 Women, and Board Member of the Community Foundation of Louisville. Lopa currently serves on the boards of YPO Sydney, Hooker Family Foundation, and is a Founding Member of the Australia chapter of International Women’s Forum. Lopa is a graduate of University of Louisville, where she completed a B.A. in Political Science. In 2014, she completed the Graduate Certificate program at the Centre For Social Impact at University of New South Wales.
