Cam Donaldson

Cam Donaldson holds the Yunus Chair in Social Business & Health at Glasgow Caledonian University, where he is also Pro Vice Chancellor Research. He is a leading health economist who has also held chairs at the Universities of Newcastle, Calgary and Aberdeen and won over £25m in research funding (£10m as principal investigator) during his 30+ years in research, having published over 250 refereed journal articles in economics, medical, health policy and health management journals and co-authored or edited seven books. Cam’s work has attracted several competitive personal awards, including senior investigatorships from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the UK’s National Institute for Health Research, and the Health Foundation Chair, won in a UK-wide health economics competition and which he held at Newcastle from 2002-10. He has also been a visiting professor at McMaster University in Ontario (1997) and University of the Mediterranean, Marseille (2007).
