Business Administration at National Central University (NCU). He also serves as the Director of Yunus Social Business Centre at NCU. Dr. Shen has published over 60 papers and presented numerous invited, plenary, or named lectures. He has also been participated with more than 30 research projects supported by Ministry of Science and Technology, National Science Council, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Ministry of Education, Chung- Shan Institute of Science and Technology (under National Defense’s Armaments Bureau), and National Science Foundation (USA). Currently, Dr. Shen is a topic editor-in-chief of the “Advanced in Information Sciences and Service Sciences” Journal, as well as an editorial board member of the “Operations and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal.”

He was also the guest editor of “Mobile Information Systems” and “International Journal on Semantic Web and Information Systems.” Moreover, he serves as a committee member on Intermodal Freight Terminal Design and Operations of the Transportation Research Board. In addition to research activities, he actively mentors students interested in social innovation and entrepreneurship. He led more than 15 social business/NPO projects during the past 2 years. He also established the “Yunus Prize: Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition” in Taiwan. This Prize is to honor Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Yunus’s contributions to social business and to promote social entrepreneurship to youth.
