Lokhman Hakim Osman

Dr Lokhman Hakim Osman is a researcher with University Kebangsaan Malaysia.  He helps development and improvement of social impacts through research in the field of communication, network, and organizational improvement.   He obtained his PhD in 2013 from the Royal Melbourne institute.   Prior to joining the world of academia, Dr Lokhman has served his country as Naval Officer for a decade.  With intention to make more direct impact to the society he retired from the Navy and joined the world of academia. He has since work closely with other researchers in various universities towards improvement of the society such as improvement of employment opportunities for former drug addicts, betterment of the economic livelihood of palm oil small holders and other projects.   His passion towards the well-being the marginalized society has made him be appointed as the director of Yunus Centre of Social Business UKM since 2016.
