Dr. Abdur Rab, the Vice Chancellor of Eastern University, Dhaka, is a Professor of Management and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He is also an expert in curriculum design, educational quality assurance and accreditation procedure of business schools. Prof. Rab has forty years of teaching experience at undergraduate, graduate and professional levels in Business Schools.  Dr. Rab was the Director of the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, Dean of School of Business of BRAC University and Professor in the School of Business of North South University. He also served as a faculty in international training programs abroad. He has to his credit over 20 publications, a book and over a dozen management cases.

Prof. Rab is a past President of the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA)- a network of the business schools of SAARC countries with its head office in Hyderabad, India. He is a member of the Executive Board, a member of the Accreditation Council of AMDISA and its Accreditation Award Committee. He is a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Bangladesh (IMCB) and past Chairman of IMCB.
