Dr. Faiz Shah directs Yunus Centre AIT and the Development Management department within the AIT Extension cluster, with faculty affiliation at AIT School of Management.  He is visiting professor at the College of Innovation, Thammasat University and the Colombo School of Business & Management.

Over 30 years as educator, development professional and entrepreneur, Dr. Shah has worked with governments, UN agencies and multinational corporations, grooming 3,000+ grassroots leaders and social entrepreneurs, and overseeing 300+ capacity-building initiatives in countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Iran, Laos, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sweden, and East Timor.

 Guided by Professor Yunus, Dr. Shah and YCA pursue a vision of enterprise-led development, linking technologies with pro-poor social investments, currently in mobile healthcare, low-cost water & sanitation, and behavior-change communication, with an expanding portfolio of social business trainings and advisory services.  Dr. Shah is co-founder of the Thailand Social Business Initiative, and Responsible Business Initiative and author of "Responsible Business Guide: A Toolkit for Winning Companies".
