Muhammad Jahangir, Executive Director, Centre for Development Communication (NGO). He is the Editor of Monthly BINODAN, a specialized news magazine for the adolescent, being published since February 1998. He has also extensive experience in teaching. He is involved with ULAB (University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh), Dhaka as a part time teacher in Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) Department also serves as a part time teacher, Department of Communication and Media Studies, University of Development Alternative (UODA).

He received his B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in Bengali Language and Literature from the University of Dhaka (1974). He Joined The Daily Dainik Bangla- a renowned Bengali language daily as University Reporter in 1970 then promoted to Staff Reporter in 1972 and worked till July 1980 prior to joining the Press Institute of Bangladesh. He is the former Dhaka Correspondent of Daily ‘Aazkal’ of Kolkata.Worked as a Journalism Trainer at the Press Institute of Bangladesh. (August 1980-December 1993.)Executive Editor, The Theatre, quarterly journal of the drama society Theatre, since 1975. His association with Television in Bangladesh as a program Presenter started in 1977. Till date presented 16 deferent type of series TV programs. Now hosting two current affairs TV programs (live) in two TV channels. Beside this he produced and directed eight (8) series TV programs on deferent topics. He is a member of few prestigious societies like Bangla Academy, Asiatic Society of Bangladeshr, National Press Club, Rotary Club, Sonargoan, Dhaka.
