Nurfarini Dang is the Co-founder of myHarapan and she leads the foundation in its day-to-day operational decision making, strategizing both short-term and long-term plans, and ensures that a harmonious ecosystem exists for our youth to reach their true potential, irrespective of their backgrounds. She left her high profile job in 2010 to start the organisation with a group of like minded friends. Fourteen years of working in start-ups had taught her “to do everything to build a company, no matter where you are in the food chain”, a skill she figured would be invaluable to other entrepreneurial-minded youth. MyHarapan’s robust track record helped it to win hosting rights to the 2013 Global Social Business Summit (GBBS), the brainchild of Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus and the biggest social business summit in the world.
