A K M Moinuddin Chowdhury has been the Managing Director of Grameen Kalyan since 2019—the largest non-government primary healthcare provider in Bangladesh, founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. He holds an MBA from Bayes Business School, City University, London (formerly Cass Business School), and began his post-MBA career as a Principal Consultant at Frost & Sullivan in London.

With over 36 years of professional experience, including 16 years in the Bangladesh Army, Mr. Chowdhury has held senior leadership roles across the development and financial sectors. He has worked as an international consultant, overseeing major donor-funded initiatives by DFID (UK Aid) and DFAT (Australian Aid) in Bangladesh, with a focus on strategic management, finance, and government engagement.

He managed the £82.7M Chars Livelihoods Programme, DFID’s flagship poverty reduction project, and later served as Director of Finance at Maxwell Stamp Plc-UK, where he contributed to vital public financial reforms in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance.
