Md. Zohorul Haque Biplob is a seasoned business leader, currently serving as the Managing Director of Grameen Distribution Ltd. (GDL) and Grameen Shamogree since 2021. Previously, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at GDL, where he demonstrated strategic leadership in business operations, product distribution, and stakeholder engagement.

With more than 28 years of experience and a deep commitment to the Social Business model, Mr. Biplob focuses on improving the socioeconomic conditions of underprivileged communities across Bangladesh. He also held a key leadership role as CEO of G. Japan Auto World Ltd.

Earlier in his career, he led the Village Phone Program at Grameen Telecom, a groundbreaking initiative that expanded telecom access in rural areas and empowered communities through self-employment. With expertise spanning business revenue, customer support, and product management, Mr. Biplob brings a multidimensional perspective to his work. He holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Dhaka and an MBA with a major in Marketing.
