Francisco Vicente has over 20 years of professional experience,working in the social business economy for over a decade. He is currently the Executive Director of Yunus Social Business Latin America.

A business administrator with an MBA from Hult International Business School, he is responsible for managing investments in Brazil and Colombia. In total, he has invested in around 50 social businesses on the continent, which have impacted over 10 million lives at the base of the social pyramid.

Recently, together with local partners, he developed the Zunne Program, which focuses on investments in the North and Northeast regions, the poorest in Brazil. The program focuses on providing low-interest loans to early-stage social businesses led by women and/or black or indigenous people.

In addition, with this project, YSB made its first investments in the Amazon Rainforest, in businesses that generate social and environmental impact, keeping the forest standing and generating income for local communities
