Dr. Mahfuz Ashraf is a highly accomplished academic and leader in business and information technology, currently serving as the Dean and a Professor at the Lincoln Institute of Higher Education in Sydney. With over two decades in academia, he is also a figure in applying social business principles to the social determinants of health.

As the director of the Yunus Social Business Health Hub at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Dr. Ashraf collaborated closely with the philosophy of Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. This partnership led to the development of the first-ever course in social business in public health, integrating Professor Yunus's groundbreaking models to address health challenges through sustainable enterprise.

Dr. Ashraf is a prolific author with over 50 publications cited more than 700 times and has secured numerous research grants in fields like health leadership and social entrepreneurship. He has supervised over 40 doctoral and master's students. His leadership continues at the not-for-profit Lincoln Institute, where he inspires the academic community toward excellence and innovation.
