Dr. Farhana Ferdousi

Dr. Farhana Ferdousi is an Associate Professor and Director of the BBA Program at Southeast Business School, Southeast University, Bangladesh. She serves on the Boards of Grameen Bank and SR Asia Foundation and holds a PhD in Economics from Wuhan University. Her research focuses on social business, women’s empowerment, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Ferdousi has published extensively and presented her work at international conferences across Asia, Europe, and Africa. She promotes women’s and youth entrepreneurship through social business and microfinance, and has organized numerous student competitions and campaigns. As a consultant to national and international NGOs, she advises on SDG implementation and regularly speaks at global forums. She has also served as Director of the Institute of Research & Training at Southeast University and was a strategic research partner with the Center for Emerging Market Research at Nanyang University, Singapore. Her work bridges academic research and practical solutions for inclusive development.
