The Social Business Day is an annual global gathering organised by the Yunus Centre, convening entrepreneurs, global leaders, academics, policymakers, innovators, and youth from around the world to share experiences and explore new pathways toward a sustainable and humane future.

The official theme for SBD 2026 is ‘Social Business: The Language of Peace in a Fractured World’

The 16th Social Business Day will be held at the Samajik Convention Centre, Zirabo, Savar, Dhaka on June 27-28, 2026.

Anyone interested in social business is welcome to apply. Participation is subject to clearance, registration approval and capacity limits.

You can register through the official Social Business Day website once registration opens. After successful registration, your confirmation and ticket will be sent via email a few days before the event. You must bring either a digital or printed copy to the event.

Yes, limited updates/corrections may be allowed before the event. Please contact the support team for assistance.

Refunds are generally not available once payment is completed. Exceptions may apply if the event is cancelled by the organizer. Even if you attend only one day we cannot provide refunds for missed days.

Yes. Special discounted tickets are available for students. Valid student ID may be required at entry. You can view the prices on the registration page.

No. Certificates are not issued for participation in Social Business Day.

Presentations, paper submissions, and speaking opportunities are by invitation or selection through the official academic/program committees.

Selected sessions may be recorded or live-streamed. Availability will be announced closer to the event.

The primary language of the event is English.

Yes. Free Wi-Fi will be available for registered participants within designated areas of the venue.

Yes. The venue is designed to be accessible. Please inform the organizing team in advance for any specific assistance.

Yes. Meals and refreshments will be provided. There will be vegetarian options.

Smart casual or semi-formal attire is recommended. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for an international conference setting.

If you miss the shuttle service, you may use alternative transportation at your own arrangement. Individual transport services are not provided.

Yes. International participants can request an official visa invitation letter after successful registration.

The program includes:

To attend them, you must register in advance on our website. The number of seats for each session is limited, and registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. You may register for only one parallel session.

Yes. Dedicated networking sessions and informal engagement spaces will be available for participants.

Although the Yunus Centre itself will not be hosting visitors during the event, we would love for you to join our field visit programs! Between June 30 and July 2, we have curated visits to several Grameen organizations to give you a deeper look into our work. For safety and security, large bags, sharp objects, and restricted items are not permitted. Full guidelines will be shared before the event.

Yes. A dedicated help desk and emergency contact system will be available throughout the event.

The event may be photographed and recorded by organizers. By attending, participants consent to being included in event media coverage. However, participants are kindly requested to refrain from recording during certain designated sessions where restrictions may apply. Any such limitations will be clearly communicated in advance or announced at the venue.
